Thali Llama is a New Orleans-based culinary brand, headed by chef Tyler Stuart. The brand brings authentic Indian food based on Tyler’s own travels from all regions of India to New Orleans localities. Currently, Thali Llama hosts pop-up events monthly at Carrollton Market, weekly at Crown & Anchor Pub and Old Point Bar, and has packaged items stocked at Faubourg Fresh Market in Algiers Point.
In India, Tyler grasped every opportunity to participate in a cooking lesson - in professional kitchens, with street vendors, and in homes. The rich history and experience behind what he cooks amplifies each dish.
As the Thali Llama, Tyler aims to provide authenticity in both food and experience. He hopes to build a rapport with the Indian community of New Orleans and to serve spectacular fare to all.
